ContractJobs365 ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

ContractJobs365 is an independent UK job board operated as a sole trader. Our registered contact address for data matters is: privacy@contractjobs365.co.uk.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

3. Cookies and advertising

We use the following types of cookies:

• Strictly necessary: Required for the site to function (e.g. consent preferences). No consent required.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies, to measure page views and traffic sources.
• Advertising (optional): Google AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. These are only set if you consent via the consent dialog shown on your first visit.

We use Google Funding Choices as our Consent Management Platform (CMP), which presents a consent dialog to visitors in the UK and EEA in accordance with UK GDPR. You can change your consent choices at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.

All advertising and analytics cookies default to denied until you give consent. This is enforced via Google Consent Mode v2, which ensures no tracking occurs before you make a choice.

4. Email communications

If you subscribe to job alerts, we will send you a daily email (where new matching jobs exist). Every email includes an unsubscribe link that immediately removes you from all future alerts. We will never send you marketing emails unrelated to job alerts without separate consent.

Emails are sent via Resend, a US-based transactional email provider. Transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses.

5. Payment processing

Payments for featured listings or advertising are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment card data on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

6. How we store your data

Data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure within the European Economic Area and United Kingdom. Cloudflare acts as a data processor under a signed Data Processing Addendum.

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:

• Job alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
• Contact form enquiries: 12 months
• Job submissions: 24 months
• Analytics events: 90 days rolling

7. Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for their own marketing purposes. We share data only with:

• Resend — email delivery
• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloudflare — hosting and infrastructure
• Google AdSense — advertising, only if you consent to advertising cookies
• Google Funding Choices — consent management (presents the cookie/consent dialog)
• Google Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent (e.g. unsubscribing from job alerts)

To exercise any right, email privacy@contractjobs365.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. Children

ContractJobs365 is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be notified via a notice on the site.
